MINURCAT Builds Wells to Provide Water to Iriba for the Next 50 Years

Iriba, 3 March 2010 - The Norwegian Well Drilling Unit of the United Nations Mission in the Central African and Chad (MINURCAT) has just built two wells to supply water to the town of Iriba. This achievement comes after months of intense and hard labor to locate water in this arid land about 200 km northeast of Abeche.
