N'djamena, 14 May 2009 – A Ghanaian contingent of 131 soldiers has joined the UN peacekeeping mission in Chad and the Central African Republic known as MINURCAT. The newly arrived Ghanaian peacekeepers are currently in transit and will replace departing troops in the Farchana area of eastern Chad. MINURCAT welcomes this important contribution from a neighbouring African nation. read more in PDF
