Communities in Adre commit to living peacefully

Adre, 30 June 2009 – Two communities in Adre, eastern Chad, have agreed to reconcile and live peacefully together. As part of an Intercommunity Dialogue, launched last month, the Adre local authorities and MINURCAT, the UN mission in Chad and the Central African Republic, have brought the Zaghawa and Massalit communities together on 30 June to formalize the end to a long-standing feud between them. read more in PDF
